About Austin No Kill Coalition
The Austin No Kill Coalition is a collective, grass roots, community voice with the shared goal of a no kill Austin.
Our vision is a positive outcome for every healthy and treatable shelter animal in Austin.
Our long-term goals are:
- Rally community to get involved
- Raise awareness regarding shelter statistics and educate on progressive alternatives to the traditional shelter kill model
- Achieve and maintain a no kill city. Once the urgency expels, we want to ensure the future remains no-kill.
Our current short-term goals are:
- 1,000 supporters for the proposed No Kill Resolution will e-mail the Mayor and Council Members by March 11, 2010
- 1,000 individual supporters displaying the No Kill Austin Coalition logo by March 11, 2010
- 200 business supporters displaying the No Kill Austin Coalition logo by March 11, 2010
